- Make an offerI’ll help you choose a price and terms, and explain contingencies such as inspection, appraisal and financing.
- Close and move inAfter inspections, appraisal and final loan approval, you’ll sign at closing and get your keys.
Common first-time questions
How much do I need to save?
It depends on your loan program. Some loans allow low or even no down payment, but you’ll also want to plan for closing costs and moving expenses. A lender can give you exact numbers.
How long does it take?
Once your offer is accepted, closing commonly takes around 30 to 45 days, depending on your loan and the contract terms.
Do I need a home inspection?
It’s strongly recommended. An inspection helps you understand the home’s condition before you’re committed.
What does a buyer’s agent do?
I’ll guide your search, help you write and negotiate offers, and coordinate everything through closing. We’ll go over how I’m paid before we start.
